Volunteering - Visual Media?

    Hello,

    I was wondering if anyone could help me? My friend wishes to visit me, she's not from Ireland, and she wishes to volunteer while here, to have something to do.

    She's interested in documentaries, televisions etc. and wants to volunteer somehow in that area. I must say that I am not in-the-know when it comes to this sort of thing, but do opportunities like this exist in Ireland? Helping out, learning, when someone videos a documentary somewhere or something like that?

    Not sure about elsewhere but in Dublin for visual media volunteering and training there is Near TV - www.neartv.ie
