Boiler 50 - 90 or 90 - 120?

    A Million & 1 questions today :)

    Do I need a 50 - 90 (15 - 26KW) or a 90 - 120 (26 - 36KW) boiler?

    The total BTU for the new radiators going in to the house is 89,936 (90,000)

    The cylinder is 36 by 18 inch duel coil and there is also a back boiler (used most nights in winter).

    I am getting a Grant Vortex Condensing boiler. As I am providing the plumber, and he is fitting. Should I supply a 50 - 90 or a 90 - 120 boiler. I want to make sure that the boiler will be running at peak condensing efficiency so I am a little weary of over specking the boiler.

    The house is 09 built, 2800 Sq Ft, Cavity wall 110mm plus 65mm insulation, with relatively small windows.

    89k btu's plus cylinder why would you go for anything but the 90_120

    And ya grant is a far better boiler

    Your house is quite new,why are you changing the boiler so soon?. A 50 - 90 boiler would not do a house nearly 3000 sqft.Its a 90 - 120 boiler you need.It comes preset at 107btus approx.Either way the new boiler will have to be set up to the btus required and set up and commissioned with a flue gas analyser.

    107,000 btu's even? (107K)

    (107btu is about 0.03Kw/h :D)

    I drill holes in the base rawlbolt down and weld the bolts to the base.

    Half hours work but that boilers staying
