NARS foundations- Sheer Glow/Sheer Matte

    I got Sheer Glow at Christmas after falling head over heels for a sample that I got. €40 later, I am so disappointed because I feel like the stuff in the sample bottle I got from BTs is a distant cousin of the full size product that I purchased. I actually asked a different girl for a sample of the same foundation and I much preferred that sample too!

    Has anybody else noticed the same? Or are there any long time die hard Nars Sheer Glow fans that might know whether the formulation has changed in the last year or so?

    To make matters worse, I also got a full size Sheer Matte and I dislike that even more. Just slides off my (not oily) face in patches.

    I bought a bottle of Sheer Glow in the US while I was on holiday after reading countless rave reviews about it all over the internet. Having used it several times now I just can't see what all the fuss is about. I have foundations from Maybelline that give the same effect, if not better! The coverage isn't great (I don't even need that much coverage) and neither is the longevity. Massively overhyped product as far as I can see.

    I love my sheer glow foundation. I purchased it in February this year and have just bought another bottle in a few shades darker. (I tan a lot in summer!)
    I didn't notice a difference in either bottle and the samples I get from Sephora come from a full size bottle so can't compare.
    What is your current skincare routine and has it changed? How does your skin differ in winter and summer?

    I didn't even bother trying the sheer matte as loads of reviews said to go for the sheer glow. Apparently, even on oily skin it's better.
    I have slightly dry skin and moisturize day and night and use a few different brushes to apply. Never had a problem with coverage or longevity.
