We bought this new about 6 years ago. It was never actually used as a mountain bike, it was a work horse, commuter / child in child seat carrier/ child trailer puller, all/general purpose bicycle. It had a fairly hard life therefore for about 3 years, being dragged out of boots of cars and thrown against the kids bikes in the shed etc. The cosmetic scars can be seen on the frame. The bike hasn't been used at all now for the last 3 years I'd say. It's just sat in the shed. It needs basic consumables like brake pads, cables, and a good all around general service.

Plus side? Wheels are running true, it's a working bike, turn the pedals and the bike propels itself forward :). The fork is plenty stiff.

Rock shox, shimano deore lx, tubeless mavic wheels - they're actually super light for mtb wheels.

Size wise, I'm 5 11 and it's a bit too small for me, even though I used it all the time. My wife is 5 5 and it's a bit too big for her, but she used it too.

A little bit of TLC and you've got yourself a great basic mtb or put more road-biased tires on it and it's a very competent budget commuter. Price when we bought it was 1499 iirc! So it's good quality gear on it.

Price now is 100 euro ono.

(We're clearing out our shed in anticipation of a house extension!). If I'm allowed to I want to give priority to someone who'll take it off my hands asap cos we're off on holidays tomorrow afternoon for a couple of weeks.
