Register for teaching in futher education

Hi, I hold a degree in Geography from TCD and also a FETAC National Craft Certificate in cabinet making. Someone told me i should be able to register with the teaching council in futher education teaching with these two qualifications, is this true?

No not currently.
You need a teachers qualification for new entrants to the system ( only came in few months ago)
