denture repair medical card?

    hi

    I got my med card recently

    my dentist normally does anything I need with the denture however he informed me he doesn't do them on the med card

    what are my options in this case if I want to get a denture repair etc on the card

    You can go to a different dentist who does denture work on the medical card. I do not think the HSE pays dentists to do repairs, however I do know that if a dentist makes a denture for you on the medical card, they are generally making a loss on it. Dental coverage on the medical card is not great for anything but the most basic of services to get people out of pain.

    do you mean change Dentist

    or use the services of another Dentist only for the denture work?
