Factory reset on unlocked phone

Quick, possibly silly, question but if you network unlock a phone and then have to do a factory reset, will the phone be locked again to the network it was originally on?

Only if it was unlocked unofficially. If you got one of those chinese phone shops to do it they may have just done a file system hack, which reverts upon reset. If it was done with a NUC(Network Unlock Code) then it wont revert.
