Best Canvas Print Website and General Canvas Print Advice

    Hello all,

It's my first post on the photography forum so hopefully this is in the right place. :)

I want to purchase a canvas print as a gift for someone within the next week, however, my knowledge on this area would be slim to none. I've looked up a number of websites based in Ireland (I'd prefer to use an Irish company if possible) and they all seem very similar. Is there any particular company that would be seen as better than any other? From a personal viewpoint I like the look of 'Printed Canvas.ie', would they have a good reputation?

Secondly, pricing. For a 15x24" portrait style canvas print the aforementioned is charging €55. Would that price be about right across the board?

Finally, the quality of the image itself. The image I would be using was taken on a Fujifilm digital camera with dimensions of 1807 x 2805 and horizontal/vertical resolutions of 72dpi (according to the 'properties' option). Would this quality of photograph be suitable? It is a black and white portrait image (well, it was turned black and white using the 'holga-ish' option on Picasa), I think it looks pretty cool on a computer screen but would this be too dark to look good on a canvas print?

Thank you for any help/advice, it would be greatly appreciated. :)
