What's the story with them and are they even taken seriously? excluding killing someone would an employer actually refuse you a job for breaking a red light or having no nct, tax?

I recently read about a lad who had a court appearance for drugs possession and the judge asked ''has he any convictions?'' to which the garda replied ''nothing serious, only traffic convictions''

    What precisely is your question?

What do you propose op? Do you want people to go to collage to do some time for a tax fine?

Numerous on the spot fines for speeding in UK, Germany and Ireland. Just three here in 3.5 years. Ageing ........ the great counterweight! :)

Yet I think myself as a law abiding man.

I imagine alot of people are having sleep less nights over a tax or breaking the old red light fine for sure.

    It's all relative, I suppose.

If you're a life-long dole queue hero then any sort of conviction isn't going to bother you.

On the other hand, certain employers may not look favorably on workers with convictions. That said, I'd imagine many traffic convictions are relatively harmless and victim-less in comparison to the likes of theft or vandalism etc, meaning they may be overlooked.

Absolutely none. Apart from the arrhythmia as I saw the blue flashing lights on my rear mirror. :D
