I have a case coming up where i'm applying for guardianship of my son, just curious is this straight forward that I will get it?

I know the babies mother can go a bit psycho and come out with all kinds of stories, her favorite being that i didnt have contact with her during pregnancy. This was a case of disputed paternity which we resolved.

Would a judge hold any things she randomly says without proof against me?
    Thanks

Currently what judges are stipulating in my corner of Ireland, is that you would have to do a parenting course before you would be awarded access. Unless you have other kids.
Your local authority childcare committee should be able to point you in the right direction.
You get a sort of certificate when the course is done to show the judge.
If you think the mother is going to tell lies in court then you definitely need a solicitor.
If your a genuine guy it generally is fairly straightforward.
