Leak - How can I assess damage?

    Hi,

Lately we have noticed a mildew/mold smell when we open some of our presses and some staining of kick boards under presses. I found the leak today (washing machine inlet pipe) - oddly it never pooled out onto the tiles that the washing machine sit on. There is a small gap between the tiles and the wall where it seems to have drained a bit. We have underfloor heating so perhaps it drained into the channels. The leak looked pretty bad (pressure of water) so puzzled how it did not come out on the tiles. The presses with the smell are separated by 2 walls (a pantry in between) and the washing machine is against an external wall.

Basically I can see no damage besides the staining and the smell (which we have attacked with bleach) so I am wondering about unseen damage - I have no idea how long it has been leaking (noticed smell about 5-6 weeks ago) so must be that at least - Still shocked where all the water is gone!

Can anyone advise me what to do? Worried I need to be proactive here.

    Thanks.
