two women with a disability and who use wheelchairs wish to return to where they once lived.
they are not ready for any kind of sheltered accommodation but if they sell up, they will have no place to go while searching for their forever home.
what has been done in the past, especially if a situation arises that family is not around?
its daunting at the best of times, but there has to be someone who has faced a similar situation and dealt with it well.
    all suggestions gratefully received.

Maybe try contacting Clúíd Housing. There's something in the back of my mind that they have some sort of scheme for people like this. No idea of details ... won't hurt you to browse their website and ring them though.

thank you for this, this is a group for low income, the individuals own their own homes.

Ahh, but you said they use wheelchairs, so there is a disability involved.

Yes, they do low income housing and that's the main business.

But they also do some other things for people with disabilities. Am sure I've seen info about schemes where they buy houses off people who need to move into a more suitable environment etc.
