Quite like the look of 3.15 Newmarket Madeed 7/1. Finished 7th in the Brittania at Royal Ascot off this mark but he was 2nd overall in his unfavoured far side group just behind American Hope and with just 4 starts to date I think he'll go very close if seeing out the 10f trip.

Really admire Ger Lyons as a trainer very honest, every morning he's on Facebook giving his opinions on his runners for the day, genuine information there's plenty of trainers that could take a leaf out of his book
Leopardstown tonight where I run two.Its an ordinary card and for the life of me I don't understand why the cards aren't filling at the moment. There were loads of withdrawals on nice fast ground at Roscommon on Monday and even tho it was yielding to soft at declaration time for tonight the card lacks numbers.Do the trainers want fast or slow ground?
When I left this track last Thursday it was proper fast ground and how it went to soft since is beyond me. They say they've had 24 mls of rain which works out at 4 per day which would just about keep the dust down. So I'm baffled as to how they've gone to soft in places!
I declared Azurite even though it was not my plan to run but ten mins before the deadline there was only two in the race and I was not going to let a race start with 2/3 and not have one in it. He's wrong at the ratings but is in good fettle and my plan is to try win a big handicap with him. He's already come close in the Ulster Derby(3rd) and there's some big prizes on the horizon. Hopefully his rating isn't punished too bad for playing his part tonight.
Chocolate Diamond has his second start at this venue and will run his race but I expect his future will be in handicaps. He wears a hood as he can be a handful but he is getting better and hopefully he will improve with every race.

Lads, am I dreaming or did I see a tip here yesterday for Forever Now in the first in Newmarket tomorrow?

Told all to get on @ 4/1 and would go off 7/4. Into 9/4 now.

    Was the tip deleted?

Ger Lyons is a breath of fresh air with his open and frank assessments. Very rarely would put you to far wrong.

I remember you throwing it up there alright and it seems to be gone. PM Andyman and ask him for some clarification.

It was deleted, and I'll give you all one guess as to why.

Just a gentle reminder that this isn't the place to discuss it, just thought I'd clarify it here.

One I was watching last night, sacrosanct, last race Epsom. Im just out of the scratcher and it looks like they are having a go, 25's into 12's. De souza hanging around that late for trainers sole runner. CD form and on a good mark.

Could be a good spot Bumper.

I took some of the 25's so I'm hoping he does the business. And not huge money but would pay for a weekend away :)

From a fairly reliable source was told that Hughes said Ivawood was best 2 year old he sat on this year. Take from it what you may.....

Some water on the surface, you can see it all coming up when the jeep is going along the railing.

Take that into consideration I'd having any bets there today.

Can't still be good to firm?

Maybe we need a thread to show deleted tips ?

I backed it first thing this morning in my blissful ignorance. True,I couldn't find it again last night but just thought I was searching wrong thread:o

I think Muhaarar might be ok e/w value at 16/1 in the 2.10

Ground is too much of a guessing game for the rest of the day. Time to shut up shop.

Or people can read the first post in order to understand why their post could be deleted.

    Discussion on it stops here.

    Delighted for Cavalryman!

Evanna McCutcheon is probably regretting taking Maarek out of the July Cup at the 5 day stage. Will more than likely be soft come Saturday.

Ugh, I swear I was just about to suggest that Cavalryman was a massive price but got distracted myself.

Must be pulling her hair out, at the 5 day stage the ground would be like a road so stumping up 1.5k to enter would not be the play. Horse is in super form so major kick in the teeth.

Missed the early prices on Pearl Blue, but this one has been backed off the boards into 4/1. Has been knocking on the door despite being dropped in the ratings. Only concern here is whether it will well over good to firm.

Outbid at a big price 14/1

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 538 ✭✭✭ComplyOrDie

6:50 Leop, Going for the outside of 4 at 14/1, Has won rated 90 other on the improve/stepping up in class. I'd ignore his last few run in Dubai as trainers says he wants a cut. This looks right up his alley and 14/1 is a very big price if trainer has him fit. I'd say he's one to watch for Galway

Hit 10/3 in running, looks like he'll come on for the run, though I was on a winner 4 out

Garbage. Finished 7\1 and 7 of 9 well beaten. I should have stayed in bed
