I have ordered lots of times from micksgarage and have always found them very good. The last time I used them some of my items changed to out of stock after my order went through. I ordered on Sunday and still haven't received my items. Has anyone else had these problems? Has micksgarage changed owners lately as they don't seem to be as good as before.

I did order something off them before and they took payment but I then got an email a few hrs afterwards to say the item was no longer available that it shouldn't of been on the website they were really apologetic,it didn't matter to me that they cocked up so I just got my money back.

It didn't put me off buying off them as anything iv got off them there has never been a problem. Sometimes these things happen.

OP contact Micksgarage they will help you out as said above they have a good customer service.

Thanks for the replies. I ordered the service items on Sunday for both mine and the other half's cars. Got a text on Tuesday to contact them as one of the items i ordered was out of stock. They suggested an alternative and they said the order would be dispatched that evening. Still not dispatched today so I contacted them again. Now it appears another item out of stock and they promise me my order will be sent today. This is the first time I have encountered this problem. The items are just basic service parts such as oil and filters.

I buy parts in my local motor factors they nearly always match micks garage prices. If they haven't a part they will have it that evening or the next day also if a part is wrong it will be changed. The trouble with online parts is the postage and if the part is wrong you end up with a big postage bill.

To the best of my knowledge, they don't keep stock. They source the parts from distributors when you order. They should be tied in tightly with the distributors in order to make this work but clearly there are some issues. Even if you opt to collect the part, it'll be a day or two before you can for the most part. For anything that can be easilly sourced in a regular motor factors, I wouldn't bother unlss you're meticulous about planning your jobs.
