In the process of drawing up a trailer at the min, its a DIY project and want to do the CAD so that I get to relearn CAD and can actually measure things properly rather than guessing on a sheet of paper

Used to use Pro Desktop 10yrs ago but things have moved on since

As its a long time since I did CAD wondering what package should I use, for such a task ?

V Few if 0 machined parts in this model, it will pretty much be all structural steel section Box section Channel Section and some flat plate

Sketchup is probably best for this. It's pretty easy to use and fast
It's also free which is great
