Anyone got any first-hand experience having a stone (sapphire) replaced in an engagement ring? I'm looking for a reliable repair jeweller, preferably city centre or NE.

    I'm older than Minecraft goats.

Patrick Glynn jewellers on Middle Abbey Street would be worth checking out. mrs Billy's family have used them for years. They are also a manufacturing jewellers & have a lot of experience in what you're looking for.

It's Dún Laoghaire so not sure if any good to you, but I had a stone replaced in the missus's engagement ring in Facet Jewelers a few years ago and they did a smashing job
