This has prob been asked before but didn't see it in the FAQ.

I have a Vodafone Smart II and won't connect to the wifi in my apartment. Its keeps going connecting authenticating disconnected over and over. My netbook connects to the wifi no problem. My phone connects to every other wifi except this place.

Its with UPC horizon. The password is very long, 64 characters. Could this be the issue?

If you go to settings - wifi, tap the wifi name does it show any ip address? I think there should be an option to "automatically assign" one.

It might be worth changing the wifi channel as well, that can cause problems with some devices and not others.

I tapped the wifi name and there's no IP address. It just says "forget network" and "modify network"

Forget the network and then add it again

Did that. Even did a factory reset. No joy.

99% you have WEP autenthication set on your router. It's unsafe and doesn't work with some android verisons. Change it to WPA2. That should solve the problem.
