Emoji on Android

So I just changed from iOS to Android.

One thing I miss is the emoji from the iPhone as it displayed on everything from texts to Viber, Facebook and Twitter.

I'm using GoSMS to use them for texts, however I wondered if anyone knows of a universal app to use to get them to show as the iPhone yellow colour ones as opposed to the black android symbols and across all apps too?

You shouldn't need to add them, they're on the Google keyboard.

I'm using the gosms key board currently. However its missing a few. So I've found touchpal and it's emoji plugin and also kii key board which seems awesome and both display them as yellow like the iphone and work on every app.

Now my only query is, is it possible to get the emoji to display in yellow when viewing them on facebook and twitter after someone else uses them? They show up as those black android ones currently :( Is it possible via root?

Just on that I added emoji in the Google keyboard out of interest but there's no option to input them via keyboard?
