    Hi all,,

    I need a good Solicitor to act for me in an action against a Bank which took personal information from my account details and passsed them on to a third party..Anyone out there know of such an individual???? Thanks in advance...:)

    That's an offence under the Data Protection Act as far as I know. You should make a complaint to the Data Protection Commissioner prior to contacting a solicitor in my opinion.

    As above I believe there is a process in place before ultimately going to Court.

    Someone might correct me on that or enlighten me as to whether there is a right to go directly to court. Even if there is OP you might want to go through the non-court process first. The last thing you want to do is rock-up, solicitor et al paid and find the Bank has a defense which sticks you with your costs as well as theirs.
