    hi guys,

i need to get an english proficiency test done for my uk license, caa in gatwick says it has to be a licensed uk examiner . does any body know if there any one in southern ireland registered to do it . no luck with afta or nfc . so either i drive from cork to northern ireland or fly to uk to meet an examiner to prove i can speak english .

    thanks

Have you tried Enniskillen, they might have someone that can do it. If your a PPL holder it could be a nice trip from Cork in a C172 or the likes.

thanks for reply , found someone at nfc ,weston . cant fly because i am trying to renew license not having flown for several years , and the english test was a stumbling block to renewal.

Out of interest, is this a combined LPC and ELP test?

i just need a test to get the level 6 english on my uk radio operator license cos i am converting to an easa license . a flight check, renewal, revalidation here in ireland wouldnt count as the elp need a uk instructor or examiner to sign off on it.
