Outlook 2013 Advanced Serach

Hi,

I upgraded to Outlook 2013 when migrating to Windows 7 about six months ago from Outlook 2010. We use Exchange 2010.

I used the advanced search option quite a bit in Outlook 2010 but in Outlook 2013 when I use advanced search it's only returning search results up to about one year ago. Is there anything I can do for the advanced search feature to find older emails in Outlook 2013?

Did you try the following parameters?

received:>=10/1/06 AND received:<=10/5/06 Items that arrived between 10/1/06 and 10/5/06.
received:>10/1/06 AND received:<10/5/06 Items that arrived after 10/1/06 but before 10/5/06.

I'm guessing that since the upgrade your old messages may have been archived / not-indexed.

Thanks for the response. I did a re-index through Outlook but it hasn't resolved anything.

When I open the advanced find box I'm just looking for emails sent to a particular email address over the last two years or so. I only keep about two years worth of emails in my Inbox but the advanced find doesn't return all the results. This worked well in Outlook 2010.

As a matter of curiosity, if you search your C:\ drive for *.pst (or *.ost) does it come up with multiple files?

No local PST files and one OST file located in my user profile directory.
