Best bike for €350-500

Hi all, just wondering if anyone could recommend few road bikes for around this price bracket ?
It would be used for 50km+ few days a week..mainly for fitness..
I'm 5'9...
Was looking at giant defy5..... Any thoughts ?
Looked at adverts but can't see anything really suitable for my size....loads 56cm frames

Any replies much appreciated.

nothing wrong with the defy5,i have a defy2 and i am very happy with it.however for the kind of money you are talking about you would probably be better off going down the 2nd hand bike route,where you would pick up a higher spec bike than the defy5.

Would agree here, 2nd is the way to go. You will find some gems out there that have hardly been used for half nothing.

What size bike are you looking for and also what is your max budget?

Probably a 54 frame. Max would be €450ish. Depending on bike really.
