    Hi,

Does anyone know if a 200 psi power washer will clean a galvanize farm shed effectively in preparation for re-painting?

    Thanks.

Most power washers that are rated for 3000 psi only put out 2500 psi after a certain amount of use from new. That's what my local repairman says.

As often said before, get a rotary head on it, whatever the pressure. Half the water, and half the "wiggling" of the lance.

Power washers we have in work are set to 3000 all the time on three phase with high pressure turbo nozzles blow the shoulder off you tho.

I checked again Sam. It says 200 psi max bar on the spec label. Its the equipment of a shed painter hired by a family member.

I already suspected this individual to be a "cowboy" and these replies seems to confirm the fact seeing as this washer is not fit for purpose?

I take it 2000 psi would be the minimum to remove rust etc. properly?

Thanks for the replies lads btw ;)

That is 200 bar pressure which is almost 3000 psi pressure. Should be plenty power in that

    Is it Bar or Psi?
    1 Bar = ~15 Psi
