Have myself completely in two minds about which to purchase. Have been a long time mountain biker and have a Carrera Virtuoso for training spins and adventure races, starting to want something a bit more and a few KGs lighter (Virtuoso is nearly 13kg with bottle carriers) as I'm finding the roadie weirdly enjoyable, mostly due to Strava segment hunting.

Have whittled it down to the Boardman Road Team Carbon Bike which I can get for €800 new or the Rose Pro SL-2000 for 1k (before delivery).

Will be getting into a club racing towards the end of this year and getting into it in a big way next year. Basically want the most bike for the least amount of money.

    Sound!

If you are looking at rose bikes try canyon. Very good value and if you get lucky you could pick up di2 for a reasonable price.

Considering I'm looking at the 1k price bracket I doubt that somehow. :P
