well lads finally got around to being insured on a car and got a letter in the door today saying I get €250 back if I do my lessons with ISM. I'm just wondering what the story is with them are they good? kinda nervous about which to choose because my brother had a terrible experience with a package liek this that he got through aviva last year so i want to make sure its not too good to be true :) thanks

At the end if the day, the experience you have will be down to the instructor in question irrespective of which group, if any, they are affiliated with. Why not find out who the local ISM instructor is and pay for a single lesson yourself before committing to see if you "click"? :)

    Good advice there.

My instructor who was excellent happened to be with ISM. This was a good while back mind.

Always best to go on word of mouth and your own experience rather than the brand or franchise they happen to be associated with.

I had a pretty decent ISM instructor, I initially payed for 8 lessons through ISM at €35 (each hour) and then had the rest planned directly with the instructor at €25 an hour... So I would only order a few lessons from ISM, then you can prob book the rest directly with the instructor at a cheaper rate (since you dont pay ISM commission) if like the instructor
