Loose Back rest Drivers Seat 08 Mondeo

    hi

    Any help on this would be great I have a 08 mondeo with a loose back rest on left hand side, drivers seat had a look at it but very tight and difficult to get at, I am wondering if I was to take out the seat what will happen with the seat belt pre tensior,???? other options is to remove all of the centre console as the bolt is in a tight spot any help would be great thanks

    I have seen this before with those Mondeos. You can actually access the bolt with the seat in place with the correct tools. But failing that then unbolting the seat and moving it slightly is the easiest way to get at it.
