Bulkhead for DOE

Hi Does anyone know if you need a bulkhead in order to pass the DOE test? The previous owner removed the plastic bulkhead from my VW caddy and replaced it with a ply one so he could lean the seats back further. I had to remove this as I needed the space but I havent had time to replace it. Thanks!

Bulkheads are optional extras in lots of vans so I highly doubt it. Tons of vans with none.

Ah nice one, I was thinking that just started to get a bit worried that they might pick up on it. Give them no chance to fail it hopefully

Have a 1985 pajero the last section of the exaust system has fallen off its approx 10 inches long, I think it is called a resonator, the jeep is no noiser without it, is it a DOE fail ?
