    Does anyone know why crest professional effects leaves white burned patches on my gums? and how can i stop sensitivity thanks

    I'd advise you go see your dentist if the effects continue. The burned patches were most likely caused from the strips touching off your gums. In the mean time stop using the strips until your gums return to normal and start using sensodyne to help with the sensitivity.

    They're not supposed to be near your gums.. just envelope them around your teeth..

    Re sensitivity: Don't brush before using them.. use them first thing in the morning before brushing.. if you have damaged or thinning enamel then I wouldn't advise using them at all.

    You should always wait five/ten mins after brushing before applying strips.
    Buy a sensitive toothpaste. Tesco do their own brand of sensodyne and it's just as good.
    If teeth are very sensitive you can put a layer of toothpaste on them. It works.
