    Hi All,

I have somehow managed to lightly scratch the driver's door on my car.

The weird thing is that it seems to have happened when i was using a dried cloth, which I use for waxing the car. Its bizzarre how it has left these faint scratches, but anyway I would like to fix them if possible

Is there anyway of doing this, without having to get the door re-sprayed?

as i said, the scratches are fairly light anyway. i tried to use a damp cloth, in the hope that they would erase but i can still see them unfortunately

    any advice would be great.

    Thanks

buy some car polish in halfords along with a suitable applicator and use some elbow grease.

it's not like like you can wipe this stuff on and the scratches will magically disappear, you have to work the stuff in with moderate pressure and for quite a while (if doing so by hand)

This thread would be better suited in the "car detailing" section. maybe mod will move this thread for you.

In the meantime have a search through the detailing forum, many of these questions will have been raised before and you'll find out specifically which products to use from there.

Appreciate the advice. I'll try that
I was trying to find the most suitable section for this query, but I will take a look in the car details section now too.
    Thanks again
