Have googled but hope someone can help here. Are there any websites out there that can help us with looking in to the next stage? As in who to go to for more detailed plans to be drawn up with specs etc for the builders to get a quote from etc. Is the person we are looking for a Structural Engineer? Or should we ring up builders now and they can advise us on who to go with? Are there any websites we could get this information from? The guy that did our plans doesn't know of anyone personally.

In the Cork area if anyone locally can advise too, thank you.

"Planning Nearly sorted" - Can I please ask how or why anyone should reach planning and not have being given an overview of the process from their Architect or design professional. Am I missing a basic point here..........

He isn't an architect, he's a Civil Engineer that has qualifications in design. He's got planning for neighbours and friends. We have just had to send back school letters, proof of address etc but apart from changing the windows they haven't asked for any other changes. So hopefully we are nearly there in that respect. Was looking for the next step or any recommendations. Thanks BryanF.

Thanks also for recommendations by PM.
