Help! eBay global tracking from the US?

I have a package coming from the US and the seller never looked at my note about putting my phone number on the outside of the package for the courier. The tracking info has multiple carriers and a Global tracking number. It also had a US domestic tracking number. I tracked it with FedEx up to the 4th of July but nothing after so, I'm guessing it's gone from the US. Does anyone know who the international carrier might be? The global tracking number starts with UPAAA. If it gets handed to AN Post i'll be grand but, if it's a courier I'm screwed.

    Roll on post codes.

This package will be fine it goes on to an post or it will be delivered by courier and you have to sign for it. If you are not there they leave a calling docket.

I live in the country. The problem is the postman knows where I live but, couriers for the most part without a contact number will say they can't find the house and it's get returned to the sender. If I can figure out who the international part of the "multiple carriers" is I can call them and give them my contact number.

Somebody must have had a package sent from the US using eBays International Priority Shipping system with multiple carriers. Who was it that delivered it to your door?

Good luck, ebay recently changed how they do they global deliveries and the forums are full of people complaining about packages taking months or not arriving at all.
They end up in one of the us depots such as kentucky and then vanish of the face of the earth.
I've been waiting for 3 different packages from ebay usa from different sellers for over 3 months now, all use the UPAAA tracking and no info for over 6 weeks.

Just great, with both Irelands retarded address system and eBay's useless tracking system I'm screwed. I should have had it sent to my sister in California.

I got something using the global shipping program recently and it arrived pretty quickly. It was sent by An Post :)

Ive got 2 items recently from 2 different sellers, 1 was very large, other was medium sized. both took around 10days and online tracking was useless. an post delivered both

it seems like another way for ebay to get a bigger slice of the pie, I prefer USPS non shipping program

Well it was delivered on Tuesday, July 8 to Erlanger, KY. It's showing "Delivered to US Shipping Center" Hopefully it will get handed to An post.

K, update on one of mine. the tracking now says "insufficient address info" Which is rubbish, probably just cant understand that most countries dont have postal codes.

However the date on the message is aug2014? so they are planing to not deliver it next month?

Don't forget that the US displays it's dates differently - mm/dd/yyyy - was it 7/8/2014? That would mean the date was 8th July 2014 for that message

I'm also waiting on a package that was sent with the Ebay Global shipping program, I should have read up on it first, it is provided by Pitney Bowes, anyway to the sellers in the US they were opted in Automatically and they don't even see the charges to them, they send to a warehouse operated by PB who then in some cases repackage an item and send it on again. At the same time the GSP is supposed to sort all import charges. I will wait and see.

My package a couplle of used Xbox games left the seller 1st of july arrived in PB warehouse 2nd, left there on the 5th, then the tracking went cold until this morning it tells be its gone by citipost with a new tracking number that gives little to no information.

Been waiting a fortnight for a parcel from Cornwall. It was sent by ebay global shipping, it hasn't arrived, and the tracking number keeps coming up N/A, and multiple carriers N/A. I've come to the conclusion that ebay global shipping, and tracking is a pile ****.
No wonder lots of American ebay sellers put (WE DO NOT USE EBAY GLOBAL SHIPPING). In big red letters.....

I'd say by now you are not going to get your parcel ? rise an issue with eBay . I don't like eBay anymore there costs are very high and then PayPal gets a bit of cash..

May come in useful for people in the future who find this thread looking for info.

I followed the instructions at the link below and found AnPost are delivery my item and more detailed tracking details. Initial eBay screen is terribly done out for finding all this out.
