Just curious in particular what T1 is like?, flying out of T1 Ryanair 9.30AM ish this Friday hoping to be in the door of the airport at 8AM, seem reasonable?
Friend at work had a nightmare in T2 with Aerlingus saying they had everyone herded snakelike for check in and it was taking ages a week or 2 back for a 7ish AM flight

Flying from T1 at that time will be a totally different story to your friend who was on a 7am from T2.

06:00 - 08:00 is the busiest time of the day for departures at Dublin Airport and consequently the busiest for security and check in. Also in T2 you have the US bound passengers in the mix for the 09:00 and later flights adding to the crowds going through.

By 09:30 or 08:00 when you expect to arrive the lengthy queues should have died down.

    Have a good trip!
