Bike tyre size

    Hi guys,
I've been given an old bike that was going to be scrapped and have decided to do it up instead of scrap it (well I'm going to attempt to anyway!)
It's an old bike and I want to keep the wheels but put new tyres on it.
The current tyres say 26 x 1/14 but when I search online for these size tyres I can't find any.
The diameter of the wheel is about 30 cm.
Any ideas on what side tyres I'd need or other things to measure?
    Thanks a million
