Best place to buy a second hand upright piano

Hi all. I'm looking to acquire an upright piano. I know that there are a few on adverts.ie and donedeal but i'd like to see before i buy. Im not too bothered whether it needs to be tuned or not but im interested in the type of sound. I wouldnt like to spend more than 150 (200 if it is really nice). Any advice for me? Thanks

Hi all.

I'm looking to acquire an upright piano. I know that there are a few on adverts.ie and donedeal but i'd like to see before i buy.

Im not too bothered whether it needs to be tuned or not but im interested in the type of sound.

I wouldnt like to spend more than 150 (200 if it is really nice).

Any advice for me?

It is possible though few have taken me up on it yet, there seem to be quite a few who buy sight unseen, which i definitely dont want to do.

I wonder are there auction places or locations where people recycle old pianos?
