    A Military PP9 just flew over the city, for those who thought we were being buzzed. :)

    But seriously, is that price right? I thought prop planes would be almost obsolete at this stage

    It's a turbo-prop engine which is essentially a jet engine with a propeller bolted on the front. Turbo props are still widely used on new aircraft. The engine alone is an expensive bit of hardware. It's equipped with ejector seats too so you can understand how the costs would all add up.
