Hi. I have a blender that stopped working recently so i opened it up at the base to find an in line 10 amp slow blow glass fuse which i tried to get in my local hardware shop but i couldnt find one. i have tried a few places but cant get it. so instead of giving up i replaced it with a 10amp DC blade fuse like the ones used in cars and the blender now works again but my question is I wonder if this is safe??

The glass fuse might be a quick blow one,if u still have it you should bring it to an electrical wholesalers and get one.
