    Anyone know when these are sent out? A friend is waiting on an offer.

    There is a couple of different adult learning courses in NUI Galway. I completed the Business/Commerce foundation course a few years back. I didn't get confirmation of a place until the day before the course started which was 15th October.
    The Access courses are different. Usually have to fill out an application form and then attend an interview. Once the interviews are completed, your friend should have a decision about 3-4 weeks after at the latest.
    Has he completed the interview yet?

    Ya she did the interview June 10 or so but was so nervous in it she said she made a complete hames of it. Started talking now that if she doesn't get it it just wasn't meant to be which is just tryin to alleviate the disappointment so isn't even gona follow up and ring about it.

    shame really as she never had chance as a kid, just hope she picks herself up and has another look if she doesn't get it.

    She could just apply for one of the business(foundation) or science(foundation) courses here. Just ring the mature students officer, Trish Bourke, about these. 091 492695. Tell her to keep going..if she really wants it, just keep trying. No point giving up at this stage.
