Does anyone know of any judo in the foxrock area?
I would love to get some group or individual lessons to complement my gypsy jiu jitsu.
    Thanks in advance

I don't think there is anything out that way. Closest would probably be Paul Cummins in Greenhills Community center in Walkenstown. They do Monday and Thursday nights. Or Wild Geese on Pearse Street who do Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.

University clubs are probably supposed to be for the students but some of them are fairly relaxed about who comes along.

You could ask them I suppose.

I'm not sure the UCD club is up and running at the moment.

Thanks for your help guys. I don't think I can get to those venues apart from ucd, which may be closed.
It's a shame as I could do with the help.
Gypsy jiu jitsu is great for the ground but doesn't have much in the standing aspect of grappling.

I'm available for some one to one training, PM me your details.

That reminds me, you still haven't sent me the exact details of the time and place I can try this Foxrock Gipsy jiu jitsu class. Don't leave me hanging here.

Why would I do you any favors when you followed me around boards closing my threads on your little power trip.
Also not sure if your injured body would hold up at training

I gave you details of judo classes when you asked, why not return the favor? Also you did invite me in that PM you sent, you just forgot to state the time and place.

Genuinely - for safety reasons before you get advice or do anything else

you should go to a doctor and get checked for any brain issues/damage after you got yer ass kicked.

If the guy was being clever so you'd never try again - he could have held on after you passed out = brain damage

You could land your next trainer in deep deep sh*t - if you're brain damaged you could freak out on him/her and they'd have to put you down

OK so folks. OP has been banned due to another thread, and I think we've listed all the judo clubs in Dublin south of the Liffey, so I think I might wrap things up here.

One thing though is that I'm not 100% certain what the story with UCD is, so if anyone is interested in training with them it probably wouldn't hurt to shoot them an e-mail.
