Ensure the cable between the TV and Sky box are secure, if so, power down the box completely at the socket for a minute or so and then restart.

Is your sky box in another room?

I suspect this is via the skybox modulator, there have been complaints of Walker TVs somehow deciding to receive as PAL B/G (most of mainland Europe) rather than PAL-I (UK/Ireland) analogue standard (different sound carrier spacing) despite Ireland being selected as country. It will have to be changed in menus

hi,i'm just jumping in here as I have a Walker tv for 2 years and the sound started to go on it a few weeks ago, 99% of the time this happens from 9.30 pm to 10.30pm? not happening every night?but once it starts it can happen a lot can get sound back by switching power off. been onto Walker TV's and they say it's the 'sound card' which can be fixed but they won't say if it will last. this will cost between 80-100 euro. leaving it in on Thursday , just like to know if anyone else has any trouble with these TV's.?? thanks.

ps, sorry it wouldn't let me edit my message.
just to say my tv could be on all day and it's ok, as above this only happens at night.
