    Heard this great, but heart-breaking, documentary on radio1 today by Bernard dunne about the Longford born professional boxer. Despite being born on the side of the road and having a troubled upbringing he went on to win numerous titles.

    But unfortunately trouble was never far away, drink and drugs, as well as a manslaughter charge and being dead for 48sec, blighted his career.

    Yep. Remember him from his prime years. A real scrapper, don't think I ever saw another fighter walk into a ring as up for it as he usually was.
