    Hi there

I have installed a basic plug in wireless extender in my parents house and it works perfectly with the exception of one laptop...

Three laptops and multiple phones work no problem..on the offending laptop it connects to the network no problem but no internet access...plug out the device and back on line...

Tried my limited range of fixes, driver updates etc but no luck...would appreciate any help

What OS is on the laptop? XP has limited wireless security functionality.

Depending on which service pack is installed the laptop may not support WPA2 and only have WEP support. Change the security on the extender to WEP to test. I would also suggest upgrading from XP as it is no longer supported anyway.
