The shopping experience with this company is poor and I feel cheated by them not only for the ilegal way of advertising the product, also for the lack of responsability when I ask for help to customer service.

I purchased No Fear inline skates in SPORTSDIRECT.COM\THISISPULP.CO.UK shop located in UK. (both are the same shop as same customer service) The inline skates are for adults size 9-12 and I was looking for carefully reading all the info to make sure that they will be suitable.

The problem begins when I read in the box that they are not suitable for over 60 kg person but they don't show this safety info in the website. For and adult of 90 kg and size 12, using those inline skates can be very dangerous and put your safety in a risk.

Immediately I write to customer service and they answered 5 days after! They said that they don't offer free post a d they can not assist with the issue, they seem thzt they just don't care of loosing customera. The shipping cost to receive them it was 5 pounds but if I have to return them, they don't offer free post and the cost in royal mail is over 25 Euros!

It is their fault to sell a product with a lack of mandatory safety info but they don't take the responsability of returning the money and assume shipping costs.

Never againg I will buy anything in Sportsdiret.com

All their return conditions are on their website - did you not read them first.

AT £25, you can't expect decent quality. - You won't get a decent pair of normal shoess for £24.99 let alone roller skates! Reviews of the product on amazon are rubbish.

As for censuring feedback - if you say bad thngs about a company of course they'll censure it. Doh!

Yeah, sportsdirect customer service is non existent. I've only placed a couple of orders with them and each time something has gone wrong (be it size, wrong item sent, overcharged). More hassle than it's worth so I'll spend elsewhere is the lesson learned.

@delahuntv, their return conditions are invalid - if they make a mistake they are responsible for the postage costs required to rectify that mistake under distance selling rules here, in the uk and EU wide.

That is right, pleasant Co. I have been readind more reviews in UK forums and many people say the same about return conditions are wrong and non existent customer service.

There are many illegal practice in some online shopping and We must be careful. I definitely learn the lesson but also had very good experience with another companies on line so far and can not complain of them at all.

I hope this can help to other people to avoid having problems in the future :)

I had so many problems with sportsdirect i don't even know where to begin. I make orders on their site 2 times a month and my orders are between 300 gbp to 600 gbp. They ALWAYS mess up something and don't care if they do. I complained several times to that useless email from support. The one time i remember that's just retarded is that i ordered something and the shipping took 1 month and i saw on DHL that the package never left england. I asked for info and got nothing.... after 2 weeks they replied and didn't knew about the problem with my order.
I told them some items now are half off like and my order instead of 550 gbp was about 400. They told me that they will not give me the products at that price because i already ordered with full price. I explained that they didn't sent any items yet and i want the offer. I told that retarded **** that i will refuse the order and i want my money back to order again from their ****ty store. She was not pleased.

Unfortunately, this is a terrible way to conduct business.Online businesses usually create forums where discussions about the business occurs. The feedback is essential is building trust with customers who live at a distance. Censuring relevant feedback from a customer is a slippery slope. Does it build up trust for customers when they censure feedback??
There will be limits to this approach though. Nonconstructive, abusive posts about the company in general and online customers must always be removed. Only relevant customer experiences and grievances should be aired.
The attitude "if you say bad things about a company of course they'll censure it. Doh!" is an attitude that will have long-term consequences for a company profit wise.
I have purchased from Sportsdirect before. I wasn't impressed by the quality of there items. But that was not something to complain about. When I read this complaint, it reinforces with me my decision not to buy from them again. I simply find this type of customer service pathetic.
