Careless liquidator

Hi all, I though some of you might have some experience with liquidators and the way they work.

I got unfairly dismissed from work 2 years ago, took employer to Employments Appeal Tribunal. Won the case and got a compensation. The company went into liquidation and I am geeting paid from the Insolvency Fund (IF)

    Now the problem is:

I was chasing the liquidator for 2 months so they send me 2 forms which I fill out and send those back to them and they will forward them to the IF. I had to send a registered letter. I got an answer 2 days after that with the forms I needed. I signed those and returned them the same day personally. Rang the guy next day and he said he sent the forms to IF. Last week (2 weeks after the phone call) just out of curiousity I rang IF and asked them if they got the forms. The answer was no, they are not here and there is nothing in the system. What I am going to do now is I'm going to contact the liquidator next week and ask what is happening. It seems like they didn't send the forms for some reason. Or they got lost in the post (which is very unlikely in my opinion).

So now the question is: Is there any reason why the liquidator would delay this case as this has nothing to do with them and they don't lose any money (correct me if I'm wrong).

After the weekend I will ring also Chartered Accountants Regulatory Board and ask for some advice. Maybe they will reveal some information I don't know about.

Thanks in advance for any ideas and info regards this matter.
