The Banshee in Derby o Gill and the little people used to frighten the ****e out of me when I was a kid.
I always wanted to ride Derby's daughter Katie though, she was hot.

Unless your name is Darby O'Gill, I'd say it was a fox or cat.

I thought if you heard the Banshee calling that she was after a family member and not you?

Celtic Metal band 'Cruachan' have a great song about the Banshee entitled 'An Bean Sidhe', I often head bang to it when out for walks in the oak forests

I saw a Banshee once, half past 3 in the morning walking home from the pub, there she was, there i was.
She said nothing, i said nothing. I moved and she moved, then i realised it wasnt a banshee only the 10 to 2 woman.

I thought I heard a banshee before. Was out in the garden at 2 in the morning with the dog, pitch black and I heard the most horrible shriek ever, a noise I've never heard before. The dog bolted and I kinda got a bit worried as to what made such a sound, and it happened again. It seemed very close.

Turned out it was two badgers riding

    Here's a story.

A few years ago a group of us decided to go camping in roscommon as lads do.
We went to the local pub and ended up getting absolutely twisted and I decided to walk home on my own through the fields back to the tent.Being horribly intoxicated every sound alerted me and I could hear breathing all down my neck in the pitch black.
I started to run through that field as fast as I could, drunkingly swaying zig-zagged through, until GO TOBANN!, I hit what felt like a brick wall.
Lying on the ground I felt that I was on top of something hairy and warm, still unable to see all I felt on my face was warm breath and stickiness.
I struggled back to the tent scared to crap and sobering up waiting for my friends to return, it had to have been a demon or banshee or something.

The next morning I woke up with ****e all over my face and in my hair, it was then apparent I ran into a sheep and fell face first into a pile of poo.

Maybe it was a sheep OP?

And your friends believed that story about how you nearly spent tben night with a sheep. Rejection can be tough, but there are plenty more sheep out there.

Dad was bitching about them another night. They'd been having badger orgies out the back garden for days.
