Hello all, Is it right that 5 years have to have passed between your last stint in higher education before you're entitled to get the grant? Does SUSI have access to this information without your consent? Can they see what courses you have taken? Thanks

When you apply for a grant you have to give full discloser on previous education and agree to the T&C to provide the true information.

A ‘second chance student’ is someone who is aged over 23, did not successfully complete an earlier course and is returning to pursue an approved course after at least 5 years.
