The alarm indicator on the central console is constantly warning about conditions
that do not exist e.g. indicator lamp failure / brake lamp failure / danger of ice !! to name but
a few....all accompanied by an audible ping. I managed to cure it for a few days by cleaning a bulb holder which really was OK but it has returned with a vengeance. Anybody know of a fix
or cure for this problem please.

Don't know anything as such bout 207's but the sister was looking to buy one last week and I was doing a bit of research online about them and I spotted one or 2 articles about faults like you mentioned and some times it was caused by a dodgy earth some where on the car. Worth checking maybe.

Many thanks for the info. I picked up on something on another site which also refers to a faulty earth...car is at the other
end of the country so is will be some time before I get a chance to have a look at it.
By the way they are a good little car / plenty of space / good economy / reasonable tax and insurance / good paint work.
The champagne metallic paint colour responds very well to polish and is easy to keep clean.
    Thanks again.

    Peugeot 207 Alarms!!

Car returned home at the weekend and I removed all the electrical connections to all light clusters / didn't find anything obvious but I cleaned the connections with a very fine emery paper where I thought there might be a bit of verdigris etc.,

Replaced all connections..............car is now at the other end of the country with no alarms reported to date !!!!!!!
