    Hi Folks.

Got an attic stairs put in a while back. There was a bit of jigging about needed so I had to get parts of the ceiling re plastered.

Anyway, time to paint the halls stairs and landing and pretty much all of my prep is done.

Question however is, do I need to prime the plaster before applying the ceiling paint or will i get away without. It's only small patches that have been replastered so it will be patchy !

Water down the first coat of white paint & paint the bare plaster. This will only take a few minutes. Leave to dry Then paint as normal.
