Got one May 13, super machine. Had a manitou, piece of crap. Had another Manitou before that one, not too bad.

You couldn't believe the difference in comfort, build quality and reliability between the Manitou and the JCB

    +1

My brother has one, lovely machine to drive. He'd mind a machine like a baby so can't say how reliable/tough they are but his hasn't skipped a beat.

A neighbour of mine has a redrock th280 they bought it new in 04 it has been a good reliable machine it has an iveco engine. There is over 7000 hrs on it now it pushes up a bit of silage every year. The headstock kinda obstructs the view a bit, its a bit higher than other loaders. I wouldn't rule them out and I'd say they would be cheaper than jcb
