I notice Hogan is riding one in the last at Bellewstown - Run Sally Run. No form but already backed into 12's in places from 33's. May just be mug money but might be worth keeping an eye on.

Forum favorite Educate is running today and if bouncing back to form 11/4 looks a big price.

Very much looking forward to the return of Educate 7/2 in the Listed contest at Sandown. He'll probably improve for the run as I'd say he had a bit of a break after running in Meydan but I think he's undoubtedly the quality horse in the field and I think Tom Queally will suit him quite well. Bit annoying that Fattsota is not running as he looked the only guaranteed pace in the contest so hopefully it doesn't turn into a tactical affair run at a crawl as that won't suit Educate who can pull at times. Only having a small bet myself but hoping he gets the job done tonight to land his first Pattern prize.

I actually think he'll suit Educate well today.

Just noticed the Forum Legends thread is gone. Disappointing.

Don't know if this is the one?

Yeah that's the one. Used to be stickied.

Andyman can you sticky this again?

    From the RP site

"Obviously spending the winter in Dubai is in the back of our mind," said Niall Collum, Mohammed's assistant. "It would have been nice if he'd had a break as it has been a long season from last year.

"His preparation has been very good since he came back from Dubai. We are expecting a good show from him, he's in good order, he's working well and he looks in good nick, but you never know until they run."

Was looking at this myself. Think I might fancy a tickle on this on so I've stuck an e/w double on Run Sally Run and Educate

My auld lad is in the syndicate that owns Run Sally Run and was just chatting him... None of the syndicate have her backed but Hogan's fancies it like mad, insisted on riding her himself and as the old man says Hogan couldn't keep his mouth quiet about it!
Anyway if you guys are interested in a good e/w double tonight, Tom Cleary's Curl Cat runs in the 2nd race and is really fancied by trainer, @ 12/1 & 14/1 the two would be an attractive e/w double!

What is the relationship between Hogan and Michael J Smith?

Whenever I see the words Hogan and Gamble together lately, I avoid like the plague, they just don't hit.

Educate definitely looked to be out for a spin but still a little bit disappointed that he didn't show a bit more. Should have put him spot on for his next start and that's when you can judge him and for all it was a nice introduction in terms of that won't have taken a lot out of him it wasn't great.

Didn't see race but I latched onto your coat tails when you flagged Educate up here 1 yr+ ago and have enjoyed the ride. That last run in meydan sticks in my head though. I thought he had a hard race. Hope they didn't ruin him in that or by campaigning him so agressively as he would be nice to follow this season. He's such an honest horse.

think Educate is in that unenviable limbo where the handicapper has his measure, but he's not quite up to pattern race winning standard.

I said this myself about a year ago,my opinion of the horse is that he is a decent handicapper at best.

No way Educate won the Cambridgeshire despite nearly throwing the race off a mark of 104 under 9-9 in a race that is ridiculously strong form without having the ability to win a Pattern Race.

His time will come. I can guarantee you that.
