Dublin tomorrrow - weather forecast is cloudy with some showers.

I intend to do a full detail for 8 hours, but should i bother? Can't Sunday or next weekend so tomorrow is the only day that really suits me.

I intend to de-iron, de-tar, clay, polish and seal with AG SRP & EGP.

Do scattered shows mess this up? Assume it really only affects the polish and wax stage?

Should i still try it or give up?

You have it right....rain wont affect the wash, de-tar, de-iron and claying and re-wash...you wont rust either! ;)
Car needs to be dry for the polish and sealant, though once you get the polish and one coat of sealant in anf buffed, if it rained then, you'll be OK to dry the car post shower and apply another coat! ;)
